20x24 A Frame Cabin

The larger companion to our 16×20 A Cabin has a spacious loft with generous headroom and an open interior.

Interior Finish

Clear-finished Sitka spruce timber and tongue-and-groove define the interior. A full bathroom and bedroom can be incorporated into the layout.

Heating options include a wood stove, heat pump, or combined wood and oil heat.

Roofing

Standing-seam metal roofing completes the A Cabin 2 exterior.

Materials Used to Build the A Cabin 2

We sustainably harvest the second-growth spruce ourselves and select the timbers for each cabin.

Foundation Type

We choose and install the foundation to suit your site. Options include concrete, pilings, grade beams and helical piers.

Insulation

Use the cabin uninsulated for three-season use, or choose exterior insulation. Waterproof foam is applied across the exterior at the thickness required for the project.
